Self Development

I am beginning the Book Study on January 4th, 2017 Wednesday at 7PM. To join the book study call Annette at 979-418-5228 or send a text that says “I would like to joint the book study” to 979-418-5228 . Make sure that you can receive a text with the conference call number or call me to receive the conference call number.

The Book that we are doing is “Key to Yourself” by Venice Bloodworth. Please order or download the book from Itunes or Amazon on your Kindle or to your phone.

 

 

Yoga Tips

  • For health reasons, please bring your own mat.
  • Please turn off all cell phones and pagers.
  • It's best to practice on an empty stomach. If it's necessary to eat, a light snack is best.
  • It's good to drink water after class to flush out toxins. You may drink water during class if needed.
  • Please do not wear perfumes or other fragrances as they may disturb other students.
  • You may feel sore after starting asana practice. This will improve with time.
  • Practice a few minutes of meditation daily. Even ten minutes a day will help.
  • Consistency is important. Do asana and meditation every day.
  • The idea is to be mindful in everything you do whether it is asana, meditation, or chopping carrots.
